Mary Elizabeth Critchley
Mary Elizabeth Critchley was last seen on Saturday July 25th, 1981 near exit 13 on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Framingham Massachusetts. She was a student in Vermont and was hitchhiking to Waterbury Vermont.
She wasn't found until Sunday August 9th, 1981 and it was determined she was murdered.
Her remains were found off Unity Stage Road in Unity, NH near the Sugar River. She was just 37 years old.
This case remains unsolved and is listed on the State of NH Cold Case Unit website.
