Catherine Millican
Catherine Millican was photographing birds in the Chandler Brook Wetlands Preserve in New London NH on Monday October 23rd, 1978.
Her body was found within yards of where she was last seen taking photographs in the Chandler Brook Wetlands Preserve. She was found on Tuesday October 24th, 1978. She was just 26 years old.
Catherine wasn't originally connected to the CT River Valley Cases. It wasn't until the Task Force was formed around 1986 that her case was connected. She was connected based off of age, location, demographic and the treatment of her remains.
This case is still unsolved and is on the NH State Cold Case Unit Website.
